addition, both the Appalachian Trail and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway
run through Montgomery County very near the town of Christiansburg. In addition, Christiansburg is located only a short drive from Blacksburg and Virginia Tech, making the recreational opportunities available in Blacksburg and through the University easily and readily available to the residents of Christiansburg.
